When a payment request arrives, it helps to have an experienced QS check the detail. If you commission a monthly payment service, we visit site, review the work and supporting information, and explain what we consider properly due.
That includes checking the variations and relevant claims within the agreed scope, questioning overstated or unsupported sums and explaining our recommendation. The architect or contract administrator brings the application, instructions and supporting records together so the assessment is based on a clear picture.
You receive an interim valuation recommendation and assessment commentary, with someone to explain the findings. Regular meetings, forecasting the final cost and continuous project monitoring are separate services, which can be added if the project needs them.
As the project comes to an end, you want to understand the outstanding costs and where you stand. A commissioned final assessment brings the supplied costs, variations and relevant claims into one clear statement, with the reasons behind our assessment.
We explain the findings and answer reasonable questions so you and the team can decide the next step. Negotiating the account, pursuing settlement or carrying out further assessment rounds can be agreed separately.
